I’ve been messing around around with ink and adding stark shadows and ink lines to my art. Pretty happy with the progress so far

  7. Welcome to The 13 Frights of Halloween, the series where I share 13 comics that are spooky, creepy, unsettling, and much more.  Today, we are going to look at the 2015 horror comic—Negative Space. I originally read the first issue of Negative Space back when it debuted, but I failed to follow up on it. I recently found a copy and it was bizarre, macabre, and dark. I had some downtime today and decided to do some headshots. Wanted to play around with more angular stuff. So here’s some assorted X-men and Avengers. Plus a Cable torso

Now Dr. Forrester has time to tabulate and standardize the results of our latest experiment, postulate new theories or just get the laundry done without worrying about this one. Plus, I’ve gotten to know someone very special: me.

  10. Aka Spawn the animated series. Despite having a deep affection for Spawn, I’ve never watched the cartoon. I’m on episode 5 of 6 in season 1 and it’s been wild. It’s adapting heavily from the first 12 or so issues of the comic which while expected is hilarious because the first year or so of Spawn has little overarching narrative beyond vibes and Todd paying Alan Moore, Dave Sims, Neil Gaiman, and Frank Miller to write scripts he would draw. Some great comics in this run (Spawn 8-10 is fantastic) but it’s disjointed to see adapted.

At least it’s more sensible than the movie. The movie is it’s own train wreck
